How much you got? Only kidding, here’s the facts:
For owner occupied homes, there are loan programs that allow as little as 3% down payment. Investment properties have options that start at 10% down. Most buyers will try to put 20-25% down on their home so that they can get the lowest monthly payment.

If your loan amount is $800,000 or less, the typical closing costs that you can expect to incur comes out to approximately $3850. This covers the following:

There are loan programs for credit scores of all ranges. For standard loans $647,200 and under the minimum credit score is 580. Loans larger than $647,200 (Jumbo Loans) require a minimum credit score of 680. If your credit score falls outside of the 580 minimum, don't worry, there are still plenty of options for you.
