Thank you for choosing Silicon Valley Mortgage for your home loan financing needs. Here are the steps that you need to take to set your loan application process in motion and get a timely loan approval.
To make your life easy, we won't ask you to fill out multi-page application forms. We will complete your loan application for you and only ask for the following four items and two signatures to get started.
4 Types of Documents
- Pay stubs for each borrower covering the last 30 days.
- Federal Tax Returns, including W-2s, for the last two years.
- Complete bank statements for the last two months. (Please provide statements for all bank accounts you have, including all pages even if they are blank. If you are providing a printout of an online bank statement, make sure that your name and account number appear legibly on each statement.)
- Investment Accounts Statements such as 401K, IRA, Stocks, and/or Mutual Funds (the most recent quarterly statements).
2 Signatures
Please fill out, print and sign the following two forms. These forms are fillable, but we ask that you sign them by hand.
What's next?
Once we have your loan application packet with all the required paperwork, we'll fill out the official Uniform Residential Loan Application form, known as Form 1003, for you. We will obtain your credit report with your permission and provide you with your loan pre-approval within one business day, and many times the same business day. We will call you with the results and let you know what to expect next in your home purchase or home loan refinance process.
